NRG Dynamix: Could $3-million a Day in Fuel Savings be Enough to save Saturday Mail Delivery?
Current mail delivery vehicles cover 4.1 million miles and burn 1.4 million gallons of fuel each day* at an assumed 14-16 mpg each. A 25 mpg Drop ‘N Hybrid-equipped vehicle would save 840,000 gallons a day, and at a national average $3.76 a gallon, that’s $3,158,400 each day!

EV Engineering Chooses UQM Electric Propulsion for Australian Test Electric Vehicle Fleet.

ElectraTherm Green Machine Completes 1,000 Hour Demonstration on Oil Field.
The demonstration developed from a grant by the Department of Energy’s Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America (RPSEA). The effort funded the demonstration of ElectraTherm’s waste heat generator that uses produced water to create “green” electricity usable onsite for field operations or for export to the grid.

DeWind Completes 20 MW Frisco Project in the Texas Panhandle.
The Frisco Wind Farm represents DeWind’s single largest US-based operating project to date, adding to DeWind’s global installed base of more than 1600 MW.
